The Beech House was designed by architect Arielle Schechter for some great folks moving out of the hurricane zone in Florida. They traded their sandy beaches for a lot full of beautiful Beech trees, including one majestic, old Beech down by the ephemeral stream. The clients wanted a mid-century modern vibe combined with Arielle’s stellar modern aesthetic, and the results are stunning. Brendan Walsh of Walsh Woodworks elevated the interior with his beautiful cabinets and built ins. There is also a 5.4kW solar array on the roof to help offset some of the energy usage.
